Europe is HOTT for 2018!

I’ve had tons of requests for Europe; Italy and Spain, some for England, Ireland, Iceland, Netherlands…..it’s crazy. I sit here wondering where they’re all coming from. Have they been saving? Two years ago, I had no requests for Europe and now they’re rolling in faster than the Caribbean. I don’t know why or how, but I’m loving the change in…..planning. My clients are the best!

Why is this? Well, partially the exchange rate. The dollar is strong and people are realizing that Europe is a great deal right now. When I went to Iceland in college, the exchange rate was insane. Now, with $.97 to the Krona it’s crazy awesome. I’m thinking about going back myself just to spend a day at the Blue Lagoon.

Partially, people are traveling more. More people traveling leads to more people traveling to more places. People are generally looking for feel good experiences. They’re realizing that buying things only makes them happy for just a short time. The experiences, the memories and the amazing travel photos are something that people reminisce about for years. Not to mention the new friends they make along the way. Connecting to people is such a beautiful thing.

Then there’s the fact that people are tired of just going to the beach and want to experience some more depth in their travels. Once you’ve been to a few beaches in the Caribbean, you’ve seen them all….especially if you’ve been to the top 10. Who needs the bottom 10 when they’ve been to the top 10?! Culture, history, food, architecture, geography…there’s a lot to see out there.

Foodies love Europe! If you’re looking for a foodie tour, look no farther. Just shoot me an email and I’ll hook you up. My pick would be Spain, but France and Italy have tons to offer for foodies. Or just eat your way through the Greek Isles….talk about dreamy.

If you love the beach, but you’re looking for something a little different, check out the beaches in Europe. Greece, Spain, Italy and Malta have beautiful beaches, just to name a few. You might get a little culture and history while you’re there.
