Travel Agency Tips: “But, I don’t Speak the Language!”

We’ve all dreamed of going somewhere, but most of us don’t speak a bunch of different languages and not every country has English as their native language.  Thank goodness there are people out there working in the travel industry that their main focus is on translation and familiarization of their native home to foreigners.  Travel industry partners have done an amazing job of finding just the right people for this job.  Tour companies thrive on these types of services; guided tours, translators and chauffeurs.  You never have to worry about getting from point A to point B not understanding.

Example.  I went to Mexico.  My Spanish is not so great.  I can get by if I need to, but it’s hard for me.  So, I booked myself and my travel companions on tours with English speaking staff and chauffeurs.  We had the best time without worry.  I couldn’t have asked for a more comfortable, relaxed time.

There are these wonderful techy devices these days call in ear translators.  It’s like a bluetooth headset, but it translates for you in real time!  Check out The Travel Shop for pricing and more information about the in ear translator.

So, don’t worry about not speaking the native language, talk to your travel agent.  People like me are here to help you get on those great tours, no matter what level of scheduling you’d like planned for you.  No, not all tours plan out 24 hours of your day.  No, you don’t have to stick with everyone else all the time.  Yes, you can go out for dinner just the two of you.  Yea, you’ll have the afternoon to go see that.  No worries, there’s a perfect trip out there already waiting for you!
