What drives people to travel? I know a lot of people that don’t have any desire to leave home. They have everything they want and need right there. But, there are reasons people travel and I’ve narrowed it down to 10 big reasons that people want to travel. Lets get right to the list:
- Challenging Yourself
- Learning
- Expanding Your Perspective
- Getting In Touch With Yourself
- Appreciating Your Life
- Building and Strengthening Relationships
- Having An Adventure
- Escaping
- Relaxing and Rejuvenating
- Celebrating
My favorite reason to travel is building and strengthening relationships. As a child, my dad worked a lot and traveling was his way to spend time with my brother and I. As an adult, my husband and I try and take a mini trip together each year and a family vacation with our children just to spend quality time together. Plus, we get some R&R because we do work a lot as small business owners.
A lot of my clients choose to travel for celebrations though. Destination weddings, family reunions, birthdays, anniversaries and all things that my clients love having a reason to travel for.
